Security Guard Training School
Our New York school provides all required training for security licensing. New York law requires all security licensed officers receive training for pre-employment and annual licensing compliance.

Courses We Provide
Our security training instructors are certified by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services and have many years of experience in training in both law enforcement and security industry environments. Elite provides the following courses as mandated by New York State law:
- NYS 8 Hour Pre-Assignment class
- NYS 16 Hour on The Job Training class
- NYS 8 Hour Annual In-Service Training class
- NYS Flagger Training Course
All classroom instruction is done on Elite’s premises in Yonkers and Manhattan and is air-conditioned and comfortable.
Comprehensive Training
Training is always a priority for our clients and for us. We have developed one of the most comprehensive training programs in the industry and are in full compliance with local laws and regulations. All our security officers receive additional site-specific training, which focuses on familiarizing them your standard operating procedures.
Our goal is to provide you with the trained, qualified and prepped security personnel to provide the services you need and expect.
Elite also offers CPR/ AED classes. The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR AED course prepares individuals to provide care for choking emergencies and perform CPR and use an AED device for victims of sudden cardiac arrest of all ages, Adult, Child, and Infant. The Elite Training School (ETS) provides certified flagger classes as well as security training classes, loss prevention classes and private investigator classes. The ETS flagger program is certified under the auspices of the National Safety Council and trainees will learn “work zone crews standard flagging procedures and how to provide safe passage in and around work areas.” Those who attend classes are “individuals with safety and health responsibilities in highway and street construction; bridge, tunnel, water or sewer construction; concrete, utilities, or paving industries; state transportation, and county or municipal street/public works departments.” The need for flaggers is important because “controlling traffic through work zones is one of the most important and dangerous operations in road construction and maintenance (National Safety Council website). Elite’s certified flagger trainers provide the classroom instruction as well as the practical training to ensure that all new flaggers are well versed in the necessary aspects of flagger responsibilities.
